Have been a subscriber to Comcast digital cable. As of today, service for those of us who don't have 'expanded basic' service was cut down so we now get all of two digital cable channels and a few local channels. So then we're paying a crapload for two channels. So...anybody have DirectTV and/or FIOS? If so do you like it, or are there too many issues? Or is it better to just watch stuff on Hulu?
I pirate American Dish Net (as it's legal in Canada.) We get everything including the pay per view and pron for free.

I've got IO Digital Cable and its great A lot of channels to choose from and the music channels at the end of the channels are handy sometimes. Only annoying part is that sometimes when you reboot the cable box, you have to go to the menu and get the channel infos and show names. but it doesnt take long, usually only less than a min. and actually.. I'm on Triple Play and its really good.
LOL @evan. My uncle pirates some service (also southern Ontario, probably the same as evan) and he's happy with it (it's free, come on).
I myself just "acquire" all the shows I want, we get 3chan analog TV otherwise.
