I had a lot of lag issues hosting but they kept releasing updates to the game and I read some stuff about multi-core cpus fkin up for some people so I put this code into console "mat_queue_mode 2" to turn on mutil-core support and had some awesome games w/ Travis, Wolfman, and Blizz/Moses today xD... played for a couple hours and we survived the 2 maps on Expert maybe 3 or 4 times total... out of probably 30 attempts. Normal is straight up boring... if you can aim and don't get knocked down you can basically solo the whole thing (so I'm guessing on Easy it's almost guaranteed) and Advanced is probably good if you have someone who doesn't quite know what they're doing or you're stuck with just bots. I can't wait for the rest of the campaign and to try out the versus mode.

I'll look around for a way to host today at school. Its not like I have anything better to do.

Well I resolved my connection issues and was hosting just fine so you can always try connecting again later and if not, hopefully you've found something by then.

I was really enjoying this demo though its pretty intense .. after a while I skipped out to TF2 and my graphics just went haywire . After a few crashes hours of messing around with drivers and dis/enabling my graphics card I have come to the rather gloomy conclusion that I have aced my graphics card...system only works when i disable it and gaming is out the window till I replace it i think...may have to gift preorder to hedgie

On the upside my wife is going to be delighted as gaming is over for a while till I replace this card

The demo is out for free now. Everyone can play it, but it ends when the game comes out on the 18th.

It's pretty cool, but I probably won't buy it for $50. My computer at home probably can't handle it (I have a tough enough time with TF2) so I would need a new video card first. Well shall see.
