Left4Dead Demo!

Just played it. It's pretty freaking awesome. I want it, but I'll have to wait until I have some spendable cash.

i played with cloud tonight. that game is pretty crazy, but he had alot of extra zombies too. i might want to buy it later on. it will be awhile before i can afford to.

The demo is fun. Play that until the time is up. Then play TF2 until you get the funds to buy the game. Get your moneys worth out of the demo

I got invited by rapt0r to play left 4 dead. I think the game is good but not worth the $50.00 for an addon mod.

I'll wait awhile before i get it.

I'm with night on this one. I thought it was pretty damn fun but 50 DOLLARS? I'll wait until its 24.. and on sale.

Just because it's a SOURCE game does not make it a mod... the game was developed by Turtle Rock Studios (and subsequently bought out by valve.) It costs $45-$50 because it is a new IP that I'm sure will continue to take up the majority of their resources for a few months while they fix everything and make sure more people buy it.

I'm pretty sure CSS still costs $20 and that's just a prettier version of CS (which IS a mod)... at least this is a new game ;P

That being said, get 3 real people together, play on Expert a couple of times... wayyyyy more fun than bots or 2 people (and Expert in the 2 demo levels isn't that hard.) I personally can't wait for Versus with 7 friends (yay TeamShovelinians) because pouncing on the guy who just HAD to go back to get his gun, or rescue his dead friend from the closet is going to make my night. Campaign is great, but I'll probably only play it through a couple of times or if there aren't 7 people on to do Versus with.

I only said it was a mod because it took me like 2 minutes to download the game.

full game is 3.2gb but they fixed the demo so that people don't have to download the entire game just to play 2 levels (made sense for the pre-orders since we've already purchased the whole thing.)

I preordered and preloaded after playing the demo on Saturday.

If the full game is anything like the demo, then this game is exactly what I expected - Awesome!
