As Cloud stated, it is impossible for Valve to make a bad game. I'm probably not going to be buying Left4Dead anytime soon, though. I can't afford it right now.
Sadly my pc graphics card is just not good enough for L4D and I will most probs get it on the 360.
When my birthday roles around in Jan I might see if I will spoil myself and upgrade my pc a bit and perhaps get L4D for it too.
Just have to wait and see if I feel I deserve it or not :P
Played the full game most of the night until now with a combination of teamshovelers and other than the headache i have from constant talking / shooting / mt dew, i am extremely pleased with the game. overall we beat 4/5 levels in No Mercy (1st campaign) on Expert... and made it about 7 minutes into the finale (out of 15). After being destroyed repeatedly on the finale I'm too tired / headachey to keep playing right now, but I'm definitely looking forward to playing more later today.

Hey I tried it out at midnight for about an hour after decrypting. Very nice. I'll try to look for you guys in game see if we can play some.
Did the waits on finding a server improve. It seemed initially the queue for dedicated servers was a long wait.
hmmm... maybe should rent one if I like it enough.
I just host my own local server... runs pretty damn decent off my computer at least for 4 players (haven't tried Versus yet) *shrug* One of these days I'll finally finish setting up my linux box and run a dedicated off of that and we should be covered at least when I'm not downloading crap (I'll turn the box off then, but that's rare lately.)

I'm so pissed... I was planning on buying it today, but my mom had to get a cat scan to make sure that her appendix won't explode and by the time we finished Game Stop had closed...
EDIT: Till I get the game I'm keeping my money on me in case I happen to get close enough to a store to buy it.

lol verge... that first part sounded a little selfish, unless of course the sad face applies to both things then it's a little better.
don't worry, I highly doubt we will beat the expert finale (on the first campaign...) any time soon unless we spend a few nights on just that and even then it will probably be luck. as soon as we get enough people we can start trying out versus too
