Big Atari and Nintendo fan as a kid.
I played the original Quakeworld Team Fotress. I was in a clan called "Remorse81". We weren't very good and I eventually had to quit because the FBI took my computer. (damn them).
I later was a big quake2: rocket arena fan. I don't think I ever joined a "clan" but I was pretty good. I got bored after a while and stopped playing
FPS's in general.
I played
CS:S for a couple years. I was in a clan called "614" (duh my area code). But it got a little lame because it got a bit too competitive and I wasn't good enough. Over time I became really good, though... but I haven't played in a couple years. It'd be interesting to see where my awp skills stand at the time.
I recently picked up Megaman 9 and Street Fighter Alpha ports to
Ps/3. Both of them are pretty flawed, which sort of bummed me out While Megaman 9 is exactly like a vintage Megaman game, ithe limited gameplay actually hinders you and the game is just too hard.
Street Fighter Alpha was a blast and I used to be good at it (note: I like all games that allow me to beat up/kill someone). The
ps3 controller's d-pad just sort of sucks and a lot of my moves (especially the finishers) end up with like a 75% success rate. which means I'm getting hit 25% more than I should!!!
