what are your top 5 or 10 favorite games of all time? think about them, maybe the best game you ever played was epic the first time but you haven't played it in a long time.

my favorites, in order, are:

half-life 2 (played an uncountable number of times)
mass effect
zelda ocarina of time
bioshock
knights of the old republic 2
Metroid Prime (gamecube)
call of duty 4
neverwinter nights 2 (longest game ever!

Amazingly enough at my extended age compared to ev1 else in these forums the only game ive ever really played is cs:s.

Super Mario Bros. (the original, on a good day i can play through the entire game in about 15-20 mins no warps... and yes i realize speedruns destroy that but it's fun to kill time)
Half Life 1 & 2 including mods (600+ hours on TF2 alone)
Diablo 2 (played for almost 6 years... stole my damn life)
NFL Blitz 2000 for playstation (played over 400 games)
WWF Smackdown for ps2 (had epic 30 punch/counter battles with friends)
Quake 2 for playstation (devoted a friends birthday party to playing this game 2v2 splitscreen score of about 200 - 60 lollll)
Quake 3 Arena (played ctf on the space maps for hours on end)
Perfect Dark for N64 (sentry guns ftw... raping teams of elite bots with friends was downright amazing)
Timesplitters for PS2 (dual shotgun headshots down the street on anything that moved... changed so that uzis ruled the sequel... which was lame as shit as they require no skill.)
WoW (played for about a year before I decided that 2 70s, a 60 and countless other 40s that were always being remade was taking up too much time... only to move on to TF2 >.<)

Duke Nukem 3D, Starcraft, Warcraft and Red Alert ate up the rest of my time, but that would make 14 now wouldn't it.

Team Fortress 2 (this is the only online game ive ever played a lot. about 160 hours and counting)

Tales of symphonia (this game ate up my nerdy childhood, beat it 9 times, completely beat it 4 times, and over 1000 hours of gameplay lol i use to be homechooled and finished school in 20 minutes and would play it till bed)

Kingdom hearts 1 & 2 (completely beat 1 with every item, all level 100s and everything and beat kingdom hearts 2 but cant beat damn sephiroth

)

Half Life 1, 2, ep 1, ep 2 (the story rocks... nuff said)

The Legend Of Zelda Majora's Mask (never was a big fan of OoT but 100% majora's mask 3 times)

L4D: Zombie Apocalypse need I say more.

TF2: Online multiplayer is a lot of fun and you guys kick ass ^_^

Final Fantasy X: Auron, Yuna, and <3Rikku<3 and a kick ass story. Lots of fun game play and yeah its FFX

Road Rash 3D: Lots of fun vehicular mayhem. Beat the shit out of a guy with a chain or a bat while going 140mph on a bike.

Far Cry 2: So much fun, a nice story, and fun animals
