Animated Spray

This is my first animated spray that I made inspired by Moron's avatar. It only has 3 frames but I hope to expand on this one and maybe work on some more animated sprays. It takes a long time to make from scratch....

Its easy to do, all you need is GIMP (or any other picture making program) and VTFedit.

1. Make frames.
2. Import frames in VTFedit.
3. Save as.
4. Move the tag to the appropriate folder (steamapps/(game)/.../materials/VGUI/logos/)
5. Copy the .vmt one to move into the GUI folder (cuz the game didn't pick it up for me on tf2 and it saves the trouble of you having to import the image in the options).

I'll try, can you post the picture. The funny thing was I was thinking of doing an animated version of it, the spray is so awesome.

You have to convert it with VTFedit into a .vmt and .vtf file. You get the .vtf one and the .vmt one on completion of the convertion. Anyway I'll see if I can just give you the .vmt and .vtf file that I made I just need to see if I can load it to the web.

I made it into a .vtf file on my own, but I couldn't quite get the .vmt down. Photoshop and the like has never been my speciailty, I'm more of the idea guy

You will have to move the files into \team fortress 2\tf\materials\VGUI\logos and a copy of the .vmt one to \team fortress 2\tf\materials\VGUI\logos\UI.
