who's your pick for president obama vs mccain?

Now wait a second, Drake. You can't just single out Fox for their bias. The same could be said about CNN as well. Why? Capitalism (how many times have I referenced this?). They are sponsored and given money from certain companies and so tend to lean in a certain direction. They will play whatever gets their rankings (sounds kinda like a TF2 server, don't you think) up.

Well, I'm gonna pipe in my 2 cents worth. I look at where I am today, and where I was 8 years ago. Financially, I sure had a lot more and didn't have to worry about making it paycheck to paycheck like it is now. I never voted for Bush because I always thought, hmm he can't even speak intelligently and never showed much common sense. I check daily on what's going on in the election now and try to find as much information as I can about all the candidates. I think for us to have any hope at recovering from where the Bush administration has brought us, then Obama has a better chance of pulling us in the right direction more so than McCain. As for Palin, I am a female and I have a problem with the fact that the town she was mayor of charged **** victims to have to pay for their own **** kit . I think this says a lot of her character. Not to mention that she can't give answers to anything that are not "canned" responses. But that is just my 2 cents worth.. heh

@ jack: i wasn't trying to single out fox, just the link nightlinks posted was from fox. honestly can you even find a news report channel that isn't bias in some ways? unless its fully funded by volunteers your going to side with the ones who pay and sponsor you

we should start out own news team! it wont be on tv so we wont need funding and we wont need to be bias

Maybe so, I agree with that... to an extent. No civilian should have access to military grade firearms. That's just stupid as well as unnecessary. The more available these type of guns are to the innocent people the more available they are going to be to the crazies. Guns are used by civilians for 2 things, hunting and protection. You don't need to hunt with that sort of weapon, chances are you want to either eat or mount on a wall what you kill and not completely obliterate the game (yeah yeah semi auto). Same goes for protection, you don't need an automatic rifle for protection. A pistol or a simple shotgun is good enough.

As for shooting ranges. Practice with something else. If your not in the military chances are you won't need those kind weapons so leave it to those who do.

If you are that kind of person who needs a gun to feel safe, keep it reasonable. I am willing to bet that there are people out there who have fully functional M60s stocked with ammo.

Here fully auto weapons are only to be used on a controlled range. Not to mention the max rounds we're allowed here is 10 rounds. Any mag that carries more than 10 rounds is illegal

Well yeah but the point I am making is just owning one is ludicrous. Unless you are saying you can only posses one at all on a controlled range.
