sadness on the server

ok so i got home after a half day of school and was like MUST HAVE TEAM FORTRESS 2 FIX! so i log on and... theres no one on the noobgamers server!

ive been noticing that during the day eastern time theres never anyone on the server =(

The other day people started joining the server around 9pm eastern time.

It was strange, yesterday during a time the server would usually start to fill, it was completely empty.

I joined and it got going finally. It helps sometime if you join, even if the server is empty and try and get it going.

I've got the started plenty of times, usually on the weekends or around 1 or 2 pm if I have a day off (and no ones in there yet.)

Having a considerable chunk of regulars on flist means everyone else that's just sitting around wishing nG were up will join and it fills up within about 10 minutes to an hour.

I don't generally stick around too long after it hits max though as I can only take so much 2fort and I don't want to change the map so soon after people joined.

I've had a lot of school work... and TF2 has lost most of its fun for me.

Yeah same here. Gizmo has to literally beg me to join and even then I'm only playing because he asked me to and I'm not having very much fun.

Its just become boring getting my ass penetrated by bullets for hours at a time.

When I get bored lately I change class and play entirely different than I normally do. I may be a terrible demoman, but at least it's something different.

I've also learned it's not worth playing if the "cool" people aren't on. If I don't have someone to talk to, I generally spend less time playing (not the worst thing in the world, by far.)

I've spent more time playing PS2 (anyone remember Sly Cooper?) readin stuff online and getting stuff done around the house. All I know is I can't wait for L4D. I'll stick around TF2 as long as the people are there, but if there's some mass exodus to a game I could care less about then it'll just be what happened to me when my friends quit WoW in droves and I'll find something else to do.

If you guys can think of ways to make it more fun for you, I'm up for it. We'll have to do Dustbowl one of these days for sure, since that got the most votes and I haven't played it in forever. If nothing else stick around the forums, makes for something to read from people worth acknowledging

Yea, I've just been so busy... it actually feels like I have a life. I was failing my math class (Honors pre-calc

) and I almost got dropped down to CP pre-calc. So I had to work extra hard at that. I've been reading allot more, and hanging out on Vent with Blizz, evan, and Suzaku.

I've also been writing a bit more... Maybe I'll post some of it... I wrote a zombie story that people say is good... although I don't think so.

Oh, and sly cooper... is that the game with the racoon with the cane? if so that game was amazing!

I'm hoping the next update will revive TF2 for me.

yeah i can tell over my break of tf2 that noobgamers got a lot less populated =(
