This is a discussion on Sprays, are they really necessary within the Team Fortress 2 forum. i love the sg spray..it's funny to watch people try and hit it...
i was totally an sg spray victim. and boy was i confused!
i'm suprised that too many sprays affected performance of the server, and why it would just all of a sudden come up like "bam!". if we have bad performance with 417, how come we didn't notice bad performance at 400 or 350?

Maybe this is the source of random "lag" that happens all the damn time when everyone's network connection is still fine.

well, i was on when the problem occured. 4 of us quit because gameplay was choppy, mics were unreadable, and just all around sucked. if it can be dumped so it doesnt affect play great. if not, gonna be a server killer...all im saying

Is it animated sprays that cause the problem? I could ses that, extra video to deal with
Yes the animated ones cause the problem to happen quicker as they are bigger but arnt doing anything different from the normal sprays.
I actually thought sprays had been disabled again as I could only see ones that I had seen before.
I know the last time it was brought up all of a sudden I could see everyones spray.
