work is really cutting into my team fortress 2 crack addiction time! i would play every night for like 6 hours straight if i didnt have to work most nights
anyone else hate work and wish it would fall into a hole and die?

I wish I had a fucking job but they laid me off! they also say they may not need me to come back. I have a summer trip to pay for and they decide to lay me off and tell me I may be let go

sorry to hear that, that really does suck. i just got done working the navy/notre dame ncaa football game. medical standby for players and fans. where do i start, rain, rain, rain, oh then a tornado warning, lets evac everyone from the upper levels, down wet concrete ramps. with 4 medic units, how long do you think it took to tie them all up? 10 min. more rain, heavy winds....all i can say is glad its over.

Sorry to hear that. Lots of companies are laying off people left and right - and it's the people who are working hard for extra hours. Meanwhile, you know the upper management is still buying their Lexuses. So much for the idea of job security.

It hits us hard here. We're the "Car Capital of Canada" or some crap. Well that's not to good when the automotive industry's going to shit.
Being only 16 I just have to worry about being laid off from the local blockbuster but my family is still feeling the affects of the economy going to crap. My aunt had to accept a buyout last year. We have several friends of the family that have been let go as well. :\ Hopefully things will pick up. [/rant]

Sorry to hear bout your troubles Evan. I hope things work out for you at the end. I myself have stopped doing crack (tf2) and started to do meth (WoW) instead. I am really just salvaging the money I spent on the game and the 60 days. Once that runs out I might be returning to tf2. I might sell my account... I could be get over one 1000 (inb4 over 9000).
yah i've had to slim my crack intake for work as well. tf2 just makes me stay up too late and then i don't get enough work in the next day!
my project should be over soon enough, tho. plus i have 2 weeks off in december!!!
bummer about the economy crisis. there will be cuts at my job for sure. Fortunately, I'm the best at what I do, nomatter what it is I'm doing, so I don't ever expect to be cut. Why cut *ME* when they can cut someone who isn't as good as me?
