What is your older card ?? maybe my post about running in dx 8 mode will help you at least be able to play with your older card with some decent fps ?? or maybe it might help your newer card not stress out too much so it wont overheat ??

have you called them and asked them to RMA your video card? I've always had good experiences with Dell's warranties, but never dealt with it for a home pc.

wish i could help you on this. i'm a noob when it comes to the computer building. my husband can do it without blinking. i've picked up a few things just from listening to him. i know how to reintall windows that's about it. lol

the computer was bought in 03 and is past its warranty =( i checked =( and my parents bought it before i knew anything about computers *curse me only being 11 back then!*
