How to install mani quake sound pack

First you need to download the quake sound pack from the mani website Mani's Admin Plugin - Home after you have downloaded the quake sound pack. Unzip the files to get them ready for upload to the correct folders in your game server. In /cfg folder open mani_quake_sounds.cfg file and change mani_quake_sounds 0 to a 1 to turn on the quake sounds. Add "exec mani_quake_sounds.cfg" without the "quotes" to your server.cfg file.



Connect to your game server ftp and find your way to the /cstrike folder like the image above. Drag or copy the folders and drop them overwriting the current /cfg and /sound folders.

The files that go into the /cfg folder are:

• /cfg/mani_quake_sound.cfg
• /cfg/mani_admin_plugin/quakesoundlist.txt

The files that go into the /sound folder are:

• /sound/quake/firstblood.mp3
• /sound/quake/humiliation.mp3
• /sound/quake/multikill.mp3
• /sound/quake/monsterkill.mp3
• /sound/quake/ultrakill.mp3
• /sound/quake/godlike.mp3
• /sound/quake/headshot.mp3
• /sound/quake/dominating.mp3
• /sound/quake/holyshit.mp3
• /sound/quake/killingspree.mp3
• /sound/quake/ludicrouskill.mp3
• /sound/quake/prepare.mp3
• /sound/quake/rampage.mp3
• /sound/quake/unstoppable.mp3
• /sound/quake/wickedsick.mp3
• /sound/quake/teamkiller.mp3

Once all files are uploaded go into your game server control panel and restart the server.

Connect to the server type "Settings" without the quotes and see if the quake sounds are On [Enabled] in the menu. If it is OFF then turn it On to hear the quake sounds.

UPDATE: If you installed the quake sounds according to this post and you don't hear the quake sounds. It might be that you are running your server in sv_pure 1 or 2. You need to download the pure_server_whitelist.txt file from the HL2 folder and add "sound\quake\... allow_from_disk" without the "quotes" to that file.

Open the pure_server_whitelist.txt and find the line that says "// Allow custom spray decals" and add the line "sound\quake\... allow_from_disk" without the "quotes" right under "materials\vgui\logos\ui\... allow_from_disk"

Once you are done upload the pure_server_whitelist.txt back to the HL2 folder and restart your server.
