Default How to install mani-admin-plugin

This guide - article is going to show you how easy it is to install mani admin mod on your Counter-Strike:Source, Team Fortress 2 or Day of Defeat Source game server. Go to Mani's Admin Plugin - Home and download the latest admin plugin and unzip the files. Once you unzip the files you are going to see 4 folders a addons, cfg, materials and a sound folder. Open the addons folder and double click the "CreateVDF.exe" file. For Counter Strike Source pick "Cstrike" | For Day Of Defeat Source pick "DOD" | For Team Fortress 2 pick "TF" [See Image Below]. After selecting the game type click on "Save VDF" and close the window. The file you just created will be saved to the addons folder.

UPDATE: If your server is a DOD:S or TF2 you will need to use the updated "gametypes.txt" file. You can download it from HERE!.

Connect to your game server ftp and find your way to the cstrike or tf folder.

Counter Strike Source FTP Example.

Team Fortress 2 FTP Example.

Drag & drop the mani-admin-plugin folders on top of the cstrike or tf folder. A dialog box will appear asking you to overwrite the following folders cfg, materials and sound click "Yes" to continue.

Download your server.cfg file and add the following line "exec mani_server.cfg" without the "quotes".

Now restart the server to test it out.

Join the server and in console type "admin" without the "quotes". If you don't know how to enable console see this post >> [CS:S] [TF2] Enable Console If you installed mani mod correctly you should get an error saying "You are not authorize..." this is good because now you need to add yourself as admin on the server.

Read Add yourself as admin in mani-admin-plugin after you are done installing mani admin mod.
