How to add yourself as admin in mani-admin-plugin

The easiest way to add yourself as admin in mani-admin-plugin is through console. You are going to need your steamID to add yourself as admin. Connect to your gameserver and type "status" without the "quotes" in console. Read [CS:S] [TF2] Enable Console to enable console. When you type "status" in console you are going to see a line link this: # 403 "Your Game Name" STEAM_x:x:xxxxxx 00:28 60 0 active. Your steamID is STEAM_x:x:xxxxxx write it down or copy it because you are going to need it for step 2.

Make sure that you enter your rcon password before starting the steps below. To enter you rcon password type in console "rcon_password PASSWORD" without the "quotes" and change PASSWORD with your rcon password that you made up or was given to you by your game server provider.

On a piece of paper write down the 3 steps below. You are going to need to type them in console once inside the gameserver.

For the steps below to work you need to enter "Your Game Nick" "SteamID" "+client" in "quotes".

1. rcon ma_client addclient "Your Game Nick" - Add your game user ID.

2. rcon ma_client addsteam "Your Game Nick" "SteamID" - Add your game user ID again and add your steamID.

3. rcon ma_client setaflag "You Game Nick" "+client" - Add your game user ID once again and add +client.

After you have done the above steps you need to give yourself admin privileges.

1) In console type admin

2) After typing admin a window will show in-game called Admin Options. Press 1

3) After pressing 1 the window's name is going to change to Client/Group or Level? Press 1

4) After pressing 1 again you are going to update a client in this case is you. Press 1

5) After pressing 1 again the name of the window is going to change again to Choose a Client. Now press 1 to pick your nickname.

6) After pressing 1 the name of the window is going to change again to Set Personal Flags for your admin privileges. Press 1 to Set Personal Flags.

7) After pressing 1 the name of the window is going to change again to Choose flag class for client "nickname" press 1 for admin.

8) After pressing 1 the name of the window is going to change again to Choose flad id for client "nickname" : class admin. Press 1

9) Press 0 to exit

Now you are done adding yourself as admin to the server.

To test it join the server and type admin in console. In-game you are going to see a window open called Admin Options. If you see the window congrats admin is working correctly.

Instead of typing admin in console all the times for the admin menu. You can bind "ADMIN" to a key on your keyboard that is not in used by any other command.

bind "key" "admin" - You have to use the "quotes" this time.
