Privacy
Never give-out personal information about yourself or anyone else. Do not share or post your last name, street address, zip code, phone number, school information or any other information that you may consider as private with anyone at noobgamers.com

Please make sure that you hide your date of birth after you have registered to the forums. On the forum menu click on User CP on the menu to the left hand side click on [Edit Your Details]. To the right you are going to look for a box called [Optional Information - All information will be viewable by other forum members]. Look for the box called [Date Of Birth]. On the [Privacy] drop down menu select [Hide Age and Date of Birth]. This will block users from seeing your age and date of birth in your post info or in your profile page.

Registration
When registering to the noob gamers forums use a valid email address. You will need to click on a link inside the email that will enable you to become a registered user.

On occasion we email a newsletter to our members with news & information about the things that are going on at noobgamers.com If you wish to opt-out from receiving these emails. Go to User CP and click on [Edit Options] on the left hand side. On the right hand side you are going to look for a box called [Messaging & Notification] and uncheck the box that says [Receive emails from Administrators]. Also uncheck the box that says [Receive Email from Other Members]. Another thing you can do is to not [Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages] and not subscribe to any forum threads.

Nicknames
You are not allowed to use a website url or email address as your forum nickname. Forum accounts that contain a website url or email address will be told to change their forum nicknames. If the nickname is not changed within a given time then the account will be deleted.

If you would like your forum nickname changed for whatever reason Contact Us. This way you don't loose all of your forum post by creating a whole new forum account.

Private Messages
Private messages are not completely private and they can be read by anyone that have access to the database. Do not share your last name, street address, zip code, phone number, school information or any other information that you may consider private through [PM] private messages.

Be careful with what you say via [PM] Private Message. If the other person decides to copy & paste your message into a public forum it could be read by everyone.

Report any private message that may contain Spam, Advertising, Obscence or Hateful information.

Avatar / Signature / Pictures
If a signature link / banner, avatar or album pictures are inappropriate or break the forum template. The administrator or moderators have the right to remove it without any warning.

Do not upload [NSFW] Not Safe For Work pictures to your personal album. Inappropriate pictures will be deleted by an administrator or moderator.

Reputation
Do not ask for in your post or in your sig. This will result in a forum infraction.

The NO! List
NO! Discussions/Links to warez, hacking, porn, racist websites.
NO! asking for CD-Keys / Product Keys to games or software.
NO! affiliate links or banners in signature.

Copyright
Do not post full copyright material when making your post. Only post a snippet of about 4 - 6 lines of text and a link back to where you got the information.

Language
Some bad language is acceptable but don't over do it when posting in the forums.

Report
Report any post that may contain spam or advertising by using the report button .

Moderators / Administratiors
We reserve the right to edit or delete any post that violate the forum rules.

The administrators or moderators reserve the right to banned or delete any account that is solely used for spamming, advertising, obscene, vulgar, hateful or threatening.
